Our approach

Prayerful, strategic, and built for generations.

Grantmaking is one of our most significant expressions of faithful stewardship and service.

Guiding principles

  • Align with the Foundation’s Christian faith, mission, and values.
  • Demonstrate measurable impact, responsible stewardship, and long-term sustainability.
  • Strengthen families, communities, and future generations.
  • Promote human dignity, compassion, and service to others.
  • Build organizational capacity and encourage outcomes that can be multiplied over time.

What applicants may be asked to provide

The Board exercises prudent stewardship and due diligence. Applicants may be asked to share:

  • Organizational information and mission statement
  • Financial information and intended use of funds
  • Program objectives and expected outcomes
  • Measurable indicators of success

Additional information may be requested to ensure alignment with the Foundation’s Statement of Faith and guiding principles.

A 100-year perspective

“Will this investment create a meaningful impact not only today, but for future generations?”

We favor opportunities that build capacity, create sustainable outcomes, and strengthen communities for years to come.

Accountability with purpose

Recipients may be asked to provide impact summaries, financial accountability reports, outcome measurements, or stories of impact. Reporting is intended to encourage transparency, learning, and faithful stewardship, not unnecessary administrative burden.

Important grantmaking boundaries

The Foundation does not fund political campaigns or candidates, lobbying, personal enrichment, unlawful purposes, or activities inconsistent with its Christian identity. Grants are generally not made directly to individuals, except through qualifying Board-approved programs such as scholarships or emergency assistance.
